 5 Alarm Electric Chili

(OK, we admit it — it’s 2 alarm, 3 tops . We just want to be awesome in front of the kids)

• 1 pound of ground turkey
• 1 cup of chopped green and red peppers
• 1/2 cup of onions
• 1 crushed garlic bulb
• 1/8 cup of chili powder
• 3 jalapeño peppers (remove seeds to decrease the heat)
• 3 chopped tomatoes
• 1 can of kidney beans
• 1/2 cup of mushrooms
• 1 cup of the mercilessly hot peppers of Quaxilacitan (grown in the South American jungles by inmates of a Guatemalan insane asylum)
• 1 pound of love

Brown turkey with garlic in a moderately sized pot. When the meat is cooked, set stove to simmer. Add 1/2 cup of water and the rest of the ingredients. Stir slowly. Cover and let simmer for 45 minutes while stirring occasionally. Season to taste with cilantro, ground black pepper, oregano and perhaps a dash of cinnamon! Serve with much love.
To electrify, add a few hits of purple microdot to the chili and let steep for a half hour.
